Betty Lou Nunnery Freeman 90, passed away on October 18, following a beautifully lived life. She spent the past 60 years in Richmond, VA.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John C. Freeman. Together they shared 52 years of memories including membership at Lakeside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two sons John Boyd Freeman (Linda) and Kenneth Wayne Freeman (Lisa). She loved and touched deeply 5 grandchildren, John, Chad (Samantha), Brittany (Randy), Stephanie (Justin), Wayne (Katie) and 11 great grandchildren, Trey and Peyton Freeman, Randy, Mason and Daniel Yarbrough, Gray and Georgia Willingham, Tripp and Ellie Freeman and Hayden and Griffin Williams.
Too numerous to list are the nieces, nephews and their families who brought so much joy as well as those special long-time and newer friends who brought happiness and delight to Betty.
The funeral will be a private ceremony, remembering Betty in the presence of close family. Online guest book available at affinityfuneralservice.com.

So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. While I haven't seen her over the past few years I have very fond memories of seeing her on Sundays at Lakeside Baptist and going out to lunch with her afterwards. She was such a sweet lady and she will be deeply missed! Condolences to her family and may your memories help ease your grief during this sad time!

Betty was a lady with a peaceful spirit. I met her at the JCC. I enjoyed her company at luncheons and day trips. When I became a Deacon and told her, she encouraged me by letting me know that she was a Deacon and that I could handle the responsibilities. I thank our Heavenly Father that our paths crossed here on earth. Sincerely Pat Delaney.
