John Philip Moynihan Sr.

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. John Philip Moynihan Sr. died at his home Tuesday, November 22, 2005, Seeley Rd., Cleverdale, N.Y. He was 64 years old, born in Glens Falls, N.Y. and was educated at St. Francis Preparatory School, Worster Academy and then graduated from Nichols College in Mass. He was an insurance agent and broker with Loomis and Lapan Agency for 40 years. He was a member of Glens Falls Elks. Survivors are three children, Molly Elizabeth Moynihan of West Hartford, Conn., John Philip Moynihan Jr. of Simsbury, Conn. and Thomas Scott Moynihan of Malta, N.Y. Survived by three grandchildren, Perry, Alex and Caitlyn; also a brother, Judge G. Thomas Moynihan and his wife Joan of Cleverdale, N.Y. Survived also by nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon Thomas and Alice Ernestine Mack Moynihan. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 27, 2005 at his home, Seeley Rd., Cleverdale, N.Y. from 12 noon on to which relative and friends are invited to attend.
