Sandra L. Clemente

Clemente, Sandra L. TROY Sandra L. Clemente, 64, died on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, after a brief illness. Born in Troy, she was a daughter of the late Donald J. Rockefeller Sr. and Mary E. (Cody) Rockefeller and wife of the late Nicholas P. Clemente. She was a lifelong resident of Troy, a graduate of Troy schools and earned her associate degree as a medical secretary from Hudson Valley Community College. Sandra was a secretary in the Palliative Care office at St. Mary's Hospital retiring in 2018. Sandra enjoyed her time in the kitchen; cooking and baking and she loved spending time with her dog, Sophie. Survivors include her three children, Christopher L. (Erin) Clemente of Snow Hill, N.C., Brian S. (Danielle) Clemente of Troy and Angela C. (Brad) Rafferty of Nassau; her grandchildren, Ryan, Hailey, Collin, Peyton Clemente and Remi Rafferty; her siblings, Barbara (Clyde) Stout, Douglas Rockefeller, and Sharon (Steven Sr.) Lewis; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Rockefeller. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 276 Pawling Ave., Troy on Wednesday, April 20, from 4 - 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Church, 475 Pawling Ave., Troy with Reverend John Yanas, Pastor, officiating.
