"When he was most relaxed was when we were holding the tournaments and the guys were sitting around drinking coffee and beer and talking bowling," son Larry said. "That was his stage. That was his territory."A man who could see the finer things in life, that holds us all together, and live by them.

My condolences to Larry, Mike and the family. The Bowling community has lost one of its best ambassadors. Hosting the PBA at Imperial Lanes for all those years was fantastic for our city. Nothing seemed to faze him. My stories are limited but I will always treasure our mutual award for the 3660 series we shot at Ottawa Lanes. I was fortunate to be able to share the stage with him. May he rest in peace with the Lord.

Dear Debbie and Michael, and Larry and Terri and the whole Ducat family, Know that you are in my heart and thoughts and prayers. The greatest thing Darrell and Marianne did was raise some great kids . . . and love the heck out of their grandchildren. Know that I ache for your loss.
love,
Dave

Dear Ducat Family,
Darrell was a role model for us in the hotel business. He was our partner in the Clarion Hotel where employees valued his opinion and his expertise. He gave us the start in the hotel business in Toledo and will always be remembered.
With Sympathy, Ken and Jalna MacLaren
