Matthew E. Pazder BORDENTOWN CITY - Matthew E. Pazder, 60, passed away peacefully at his home in Bordentown City on Saturday April 12th 2014. Born in Trenton, Matt grew up in Ewing Township and Absecon NJ before moving to Bordentown City in 1979. Matt was employed as a Facilities Manager with The State of New Jersey for the past 14 years, most recently with the Department of Children and Families. An avid Eagles fan and "Life of the Party", Matt will be remembered for his kindness and humor as well as his selflessness and willingness to help others. But the greatest joy in Matt's life was his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a caring friend and will be missed by many. Matt is survived by his wife of 33 years, Eileen Shea Pazder, his daughters and son-in-law, Rachel and Jordan Bennett, Mallory Pazder, his grandson Calvin Bennett, his Mother and Father, Matthew Pazder and Josephine Pazder, Mother-in-Law Veronica Shea, Brothers-in-Law Michael and James Shea, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Matt's life will be commemorated on Thursday evening April 17th 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at The Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown, NJ. (609) 298-0128. Guest's may visit with the family Thursday from 5:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. and on Friday morning from 10:00 ~ 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery Hamilton. Eileen, Rachel, Mallory and family, he loved you so much, Matt's face lit up and he always had the biggest smile like no other when he talked of you.

Matty, my friend, you will be missed so much. You've provided us with memories of good times, and laughter - your humor was like no other, your laughter and smile will remain embedded deeply within me, our conversations are cherished.

To the family of Matt, I am deeply saddened for your loss. Matt was sweet, kind, and he had a gentle spirit. When he came to work, though busy, he had a listening ear. He always found the time to check in to see how others were doing and to share stories about his family. He cared about people. I walk away feeling blessed to have known him. My prayers are with you Matt and your family...I'll always remembe how happy your were planning the wedding and how you planned it like you were at work for Dyfs, planning very methodically and yes how we debated the Eagles/Giants. i guess God needed someone to help with Heaven's facilities.
