Irene Dunlap

Irene Falco Dunlap, 81, of White Oak, died Saturday, June 25, 2016. She was born in McKeesport on June 7, 1935, and was a daughter of the late John and Mary Bodnar Popovich. She was the wife of the late Gilbert Henry Falco and the late Clifford Dunlap. She is survived by daughter, Darla (Dennis) Pohodich, of Elizabeth; sisters, Ann Stanko, of White Oak, Betty Smoot, of White Oak, Helen McBurney, of North Huntingdon, and Mary Reisner, of White Oak; grandchildren, Gilbert, Dennis J. and Michael Pohodich; and great-grandchildren, Christian and Brenden Pohodich. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosemary Franks; and brothers, Steve, Joseph, John, Andrew and Michael Popovich. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Rita, Lorraine and Philomena.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES INC., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, in St. Michael's Church. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
