George Fallon Obituary

George G. Fallon, 84, of Malabar, Fla., formerly of North Huntingdon, died Friday, April 10, 2009, at home. He was born July 2, 1924, in McKees Rocks, a son of the late William and Hilda Fallon. Prior to his retirement, George was an inspector for U.S. Steel. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Cain Fallon, in 2008; three brothers, William, Charles and Joseph; and a grandson, Marcus Fallon. He is survived by three sons, Gerald and his wife, Diana, of Buffalo, N.Y., Ken and his wife, Susan, of Valkaria, Fla., and Glenn Fallon, of North Huntingdon; two brothers, Lawrence and his wife, Dolly, and Francis Fallon; a sister, Mary Malis and her husband, Steve; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Brush Creek Cemetery with Father Leonard Stoviak officiating. (Please go directly to the cemetery.) www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
