William Bittner Obituary

William E. "Billy" Bittner III, 54, of Bridgeville, formerly of Greensburg, died Saturday, July 15, 2023. He was born Aug. 29, 1968, in Greensburg, a son of William E. Bittner Jr. (Nancy Mangilo-Bittner) and the late Nancy J. (Laudadio) Bittner. He was employed by Verizon Wireless as a senior engineer specialist. He was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. Billy loved his family. With his five sisters, he would laugh, joke and dance. His friendships were genuine and he was loved by so many. He lived life to the fullest. Billy was an avid golfer and loved sports, especially Steelers football. In addition to his father, he is survived by his five loving sisters, Terri George (Dave), Tracey Rowe (Doug Woodman), Kimmy Bogac (Howard), Karin Miller (Jack) and Dana Licastro (John); nine nieces and nephews, Tanner Rowe (Marisa), Tyler Rowe (Lea), Jonathan Bogac (Jackie), Joshua Bogac (Ashley), Ally Miller, Jackson Miller, Victoria Miller, Alex Lacastro and Sam Lacastro; his loving companion, Lisa Vesely; his lifetime friend, Dave Dei; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. Please go directly to the church. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society. www.bachafh.com.
