Michael Hyschak Obituary

Michael A. Hyschak Harwick Michael A. Hyschak, 45, of Harwick, passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at home. He was born April 16, 1967, in Pittsburgh, to Lois Buffalini Hyschak and the late Michael Hyschak. Michael served his country in the Army as a military policeman, both active and reserve. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Harwick. Michael worked as a licensed practical nurse for Consulate Health Care, Indiana Township. He enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons, reading, watching his Pittsburgh sports teams and especially loved his dogs. Michael was accomplished at Tae-Kwon-Do, achieving a purple belt. Survivors include his loving wife of 12 years, Kathleen Elish Hyschak; stepchildren, Cara and David Emanuelson; sister, Michelle Hyschak, of Lock Haven; brother, Scott (Jaine) Hyschak, of Douglas, Ga.; mother, Lois Hyschak; and uncle, Jerry Buffalini, of California. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Olive Jackson; and grandfather, William Jackson. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1607 Pittsburgh St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in Our Lady Of Victory by the Rev. Alan Morris. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church Monday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the West Deer Dog Shelter. www.jarviefuneralhome.com.
