Barbara was my Client as her Caregiver/Companion for the past 8 years.
She was smart, wise, fun, and above all, a "Teacher"! She loved celebrating life every day and enjoyed decorating for the holidays as well as the gatherings that came from them. She was kind and gracious and her door was always open for visitors. She was love! She made it easy for me to minister, care and serve her. Barbara has graduated from this life to the next, embraced by the Lord for all eternity. Yes, she was a "Believer" where her new chapter being Home in Heaven has begun. I loved to see her smile as it was a reflection to me that I was doing a good job and I took many pictures to prove it. We were a team. In spite of her limitations she was active and kept being creative and productive. She was such a lovely lady-a beauty next to her Beloved Bruce. I will always remember her for her courage and willingness to try in the face of adversity. She was an inspiration to many including me. There is no need to nap in Heaven now, Ms. Barbara! May her family and friends find comfort in knowing she made it home. Now she waits for the rest of us to make that journey where we can join her in her new "Happy Place". We are all Blessed for the having known her. I know she's left her mark on my life! Jesus makes the difference by His Love and He resided in Barbara's heart. It showed! "Smile on!" Ms. Barbara, until we meet again! At her request, I have made a generous donation in her name, to the Tucson Wildlife Center. Loved to make her smile! Love lives on in all our memories, held in our hearts, of you my Dear! Beautiful lady, you are Loved!!!

As administrative secretary at Sahuaro, I could always count on Barbara for help! I also remember the fun time we had after the theatre on Broadway just 'hanging out' in the restaurant with her, Bev, Joyce, Sue and me. My thoughts and prayers for Barbara's family. Angela Whidden. (work)

I will always remember Aunt Barbara as beautiful, smiling and always optimistic. We shared a love of the outdoors and nature. I will miss her, but I have nothing but happy memories of her.
