John Acker Obituary

WEST BLOCTON John Lee Acker, age 29, of West Blocton, died Aug. 16, 2007. Services will be 2 p.m. today at West Blocton Church of Christ with Bro. Lee Forsythe and Bro. J.D. Mosley officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery with Rockco Funeral Home of Centreville directing.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn and Maudie Acker.

Survivors include his father, John L. Acker of West Blocton; mother, Jacquelyn Bank (Joel) of Northport; two sons, Luke Acker of Woodstock and Joah Acker of Woodstock; his former wife, Angelica Bentley; two brothers, Jason Acker (Shea) of West Blocton and Kuper Bank of Northport; three sisters, Cheryl Dodson (Jeff) of Woodstock, Amye Holman (Jacob) of Tuscaloosa and Andrea Channell of Northport; grandparents, Jack Evans and Louise Jenkins; and ten nieces and nephews.
