Formerly of Burnsville, MN. Longtime employee of Lockheed Martin (Unisys). Survived by wife, Barbara; 4 children: Katherine Knaak of Highland Heights, KY, James of Aurora, CO, Robert of West St. Paul, Lynn James of Mpls; 4 step-children: Charles (Patty) Paton of St. Paul, David (Sondra) Paton of Mendota Heights, Peggy (Kevin) Fink of Northfield, Barbara (Rhys) Parry of St. Paul; 13 grandchildren; and in-laws W. Howard and Myrtle Lloyd of Rochester. Service 10:30 A.M. Monday, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 500 W. 3rd St., Northfield. Visitation 2-6 P.M. Sunday at Benson & Langehough FH, Northfield. Memorials are preferred to St. Dominic Catholic Church, St. John's Lutheran Church, the Jesuit Retreat Center in Lake Elmo, or the Northfield Senior Center.

Dear Barbara-

Steve and I were so saddened to learn of John's death. We had heard from Barbie that John had became ill upon your return from Italy. Our thoughts are with you and your family members during this difficult time.
