ALTON -- Alice M. Nelson, 90, died Aug. 20, 2010, in the presence of her family.
She was born on June 2, 1920, in Lowell, Mass., and later lived in Chelmsford, Mass., and Alton Bay.
She was president of Mrs. Nelson's Candy House Inc. for many years.
Mrs. Nelson was predeceased by her husband, Allen D. Nelson, in 1985.
IN HER LIFE: She is survived by one daughter, Maryalice Galus, and her husband, Bill, of Barnstead; one son, Allen D. Nelson (Bud) and his wife, Susan, of Alton Bay; three grandchildren; Doreen Nelson Nolet, Alyson Galus, and John Nelson; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
SERVICES: A private graveside service was held Saturday at the Pine Ridge Cemetery.
