CLINTON - Mrs. Evelyn M. Green, 86, a resident of the Katherine Luther Residential Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Clinton, formerly of Utica, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the nursing home.
Evelyn was born in Utica, on November 4, 1930, the daughter of Arthur and Jane "Jenny" (Brady) Boden and received her education in Utica schools. On September 25, 1954, Evelyn married George R. Green, Sr., a loving union of 63 years. For many years until her retirement, she was employed with the Heritage Home in Utica.
Mrs. Green is survived by her loving husband, George; two daughters and one son-in-law, Susan and Robert Beauharnois, of Frankfort and Georgette Sheehan, of Utica; one son, George Green, Jr., of Utica; three cherished grandchildren, Robert Beauharnois and his wife, Kimberley, of Marcy, Nicole Sheehan and her husband, Christopher Sunderlin, of Utica and David Beauharnois and his wife, Jade, of Whitesboro; two adored great-grandchildren, Braeden Beauharnois and Larissa Beauharnois; two brothers, Arthur Boden, of Richfield Springs and James Boden, of PA; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Esther Stefanski, of Clinton and Shirley and Robert Skuse, of New Hartford; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Evelyn's wishes, there are no calling hours and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Mrs. Green's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff on the Saul Unit at the Katherine Luther Home for the wonderful care and compassion you provided to Evelyn.
