Genoveva Sandoval Ambriz
LYFORD - Genoveva Sandoval Ambriz, 85, Passed away Friday, September 14, 2007 At Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. A rosary will be held Sunday, at 7 p.m. at Prince of Peace Church. Funeral services will be held Monday, 10 a.m., September 17th, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lyford. Burial will follow at the Guadalupe Cemetary in Lyford.
She lived in Lyford all her life and was a member of the Guadalupanas. Mrs. Genoveva S. Ambriz will be lying in state at Prince of Peace from 2 p.m., until 9 p.m., with a holy rosary recited at 7 p.m.
She is survived by five sons ans six daughters, Olga Ambriz of La Mesa, TX, Jose (Maria) Ambriz of Muleshoe, TX, Tina (Juan) Cantu of La Mesa, TX, Lily (Mage) Martinez of Lyford, Perfecto (Paula) Ambriz of La Mesa, TX, Abelardo (Janie) Ambriz, Adelaida Ambriz, Mary Ambriz (Margarito) Soto, Margie (Robert) Aguirre and Adan (Mary) Garcia all of Lyford, Amanda (Ruben) Ahumada and Aurelio (Senaida) Ambriz both of Beeville, TX. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by the husband, Manuel Ambriz in 1999 and Evaristo in 2004, Maria Eufemia, Juan Manuel and Abel.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Duddlesten Funeral Home.
