Crystal McCuller Obituary
Oxnard, CA
Crystal Linn McCuller passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 in her home after a valiant battle with melanoma cancer. Family meant everything to her and she was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her passing. Throughout her two year battle our Mom fought courageously and bravely never giving up hope. She continued to live life fully and remained involved with her family the entire time, she never missed a birthday or get together. She didn't let her illness overcome her.
Crystal was born on January 28, 1958 in Fresno, CA to Sally Gould and TJ Morris. She relocated with her family to Oxnard in 1962.
She graduated from Oxnard College and went on to work for the County of Ventura, Human Services Agency. She retired in July 2015 after 25 years. She made many wonderful friends during her career and kept in contact with many of them up until the very end.
Our Mom was a beautiful person whose smile, laughter and kind eyes will never be forgotten. She delighted in the company of family and friends and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to have a good time, Chumash Casino, the 4th of July and BBQs with her loved ones were just a few of her favorite things.
She is survived by her children, Angela Lee (Irving Vidal), Melissa Lee (Avra Karanikolas) Amanda Munoz (Michael) and her Stepchildren, Kamiecia and Andres McCuller. She also leaves behind her sister, Cindy Bradford (George), brother, Bryan Gore (Chachi Trujillo) and aunts, Patricia Weeth and Rosemary Sharkey (Arnold). Truth be told, the joy of her life was being "Grammie" to her beautiful 8 grandchildren whom she adored: Hailey, Angel, Alyssa, Leah and Noah Vidal and Michael (Mikey), Isiah and Josiah Munoz. Crystal also leaves behind her ex-husband, Pablo Litchmore; nephews Christopher Barkley, Myles Bradford (Crista), cousins Eric Weeth (Patti), Carrie Ann Sharkey, great nephew, Sammy, great nieces, Jasmine, Crystal and LaTasha and several great great nephews and nieces. Her many dear friends will also miss her immensely.
Crystal was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jeffrey McCuller, her Mom, Sally Osburg, grandparents (Helen & Thaniel Harp), sister Brenda Morris, niece Nicole Wofford, Uncle Wallace Weeth and cousin Carolyn Weeth.
The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation to Dr. Joshua Rosenberg and his wonderful staff; Dr. John Stople; longtime friend and GP, Dr. Theresa Enriquez and her best friend Maria Orozco and her daughter Krystalyna Alcala who took great care of our Mom.
A service for Crystal will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, August 30th at the Reardon Funeral Home in Oxnard. Burial will immediately follow at Ivy Lawn Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at Yolanda's Restaurant on Main St., Ventura.

Crystal was an amazing mother and grandmother and I was lucky to have known her. She will live on in her beautiful daughters and grandchildren. Oh the trouble Crystal and I got into in High School. She was an amazing person. We laughed, cried and complained about her stinky cats when we ditched at hid at her place. I am very sorry for your loss. With my deepest sympathy.

Crystal, i was so sad to hear of your illness and now heartbroken to hear of your passing...but you are no longer suffering....You raised three beautiful and amazing daughters and I know in my heart you are still right by their side...as you always were....Rest in peace Ms Crystal.

Crystal and I were good friends in junior high school. We have fun times and we lost touch as many do. I've thought about her many times as the years have past. My prayers are with her family and friends. I wish we had kept in touch.
