William Holder Obituary

William "Dickie" Holder, 70, of Mt. Calm, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, in Waco. Funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday, March 16, at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. The family will receive visitors 10 a.m. until service time Saturday.

Dickie was born Nov. 1, 1942, in Gholson, the son of Robert and Alice (Wallace) Holder. He graduated from West High School in 1960 and worked for Central Freight Lines in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area for over 41 years. He enjoyed traveling to Branson, Mo. He also loved going on trail rides, farming, and dirt track racing.

Dickie was preceded in death by his father, Robert "R.H." Holder.

Survivors include his mother, Alice Holder of Waco; fiancŽe, Nancy Glover of Waco; two daughters, Deborah Holder and fiancŽ, Anthony Sciortino, of Hallsburg, and Amy Holder of Waco; a son, William Clay Holder of Waco; two brothers, Walter Holder and wife, Judy, and Bill Holder; three sisters, Ann Schofield, Ruby Rueffer and husband, Melvin, and Barbara Ainsworth and husband, John; five grandchildren, Dillion, Jacob, Amanda, Crystal, and Jerrad; two great-grandchildren, Avery and Aston; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Fort Parker (Trail Ride Site) 866 Park Road #35, Groesbeck, TX 76642.
