Elliot Willis Obituary
WILLIS ELLIOT THOMAS WILLIS On November 2, 2007. ELLIOT T. WILLIS is survived by his loving parents, William C. and Fairley L. Willis, one brother Richard Willis, three sisters, Tracie and Doretha Willis, and Leebra Branham, a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 10, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Isle of Patmos Baptist Church, corner of 12th and Rhode Island Ave N.E. the Rev. Dr. Calvin L. Matthews, Pastor, interment Harmony Memorial Park. Services entrusted to HACKETT'S.

To the Willis Family,
My heart ached when I received a call from Tracy informing me of Elliott's passing. Elliott and I had recently reconnected after many years. I remember our families good times on Perry Street and will always remember Elliott as my childhood "boyfriend". My prayers are with you and if there is anything I can do please do not hesitate to contact me. The Willis brothers are together again with their Heavenly Father.

I returned to WAD on 01/23/1992 as an Electrician. I've worked with; and, have had many enjoyable and informative conversations with Elliot. He will be missed by both; (Family and Friends). My Prayers and Condolences go out to his family.

I regret that I could not come and personally express love to the family during your time of bereavement,however you all are in my prayers for strength & peace. My experience with Elliot's life as a former member of the singing group (The Nation Of Holiness) will not soon be forgotten as I witnessed humility in it's rarest form.Just remember "He (God) Knows".

I can remember the laughter that was shared in rehersal, and the looks that was given by Elliot when I would sing off note. You will be miss by all. But I rejoice in my spirit for ONE DAY WE SHALL ALL REJOICE TOGETHER. GOD BLESS

I just want to express my deepest sympathy to the family in the loss of Elliot. He was truly a wonderful and loving gentleman with a heart of gold. I will miss our emails catching up on things and laughing about old Nation stories. He will truly be missed. Family if there is anything Kevin and I can do please do not hesitate to contact us.

I first met Elliot many years ago when I started working for the corps. I watched Elliot work his way up from a C&I tech all the way to a crew leader. Elliot always had a nice word for you when he talked to you. I was there after his first stroke took him away from work for some time. He was one true friend...
