JOHN FREDERICK RUEHLMANN  
John Frederick Ruehlmann, age 68, of Woodbridge, VA passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at the VA Medical Center, Washington, DC. He was born on July 12, 1947 in Cincinnati, OH the son of the late William E. and Thelma M. (Smith) Ruehlmann. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he received 3 Purple Hearts. He worked as a Financial Advisor for the Veterans Administration and was a member of the VFW in McLean. Survivors include his loving wife, Allison K. Ruehlmann; three daughters, Wendy Nicole Ruehlmann, Aubrey Ann McNiff and husband Christian and Miranda Elizabeth Ruehlmann; one son, Matthew John Ruehlmann; one brother, William John Ruehlmann; five grandchildren, Tristan, Ethan, Tyler, Hailey and Ashley. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Pierce Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA where a funeral will take place at 2:00pm. Burial with military honors will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Veterans Community Living and Rehabilitation Center Washington DC. Checks made payable to Voluntary Services code 1164.
