My deepest sympathy to Alfred's family. I met Alfred 17 years ago when I first started playing bluegrass. I was only 10 years old. Alfred was such a nice man and very talented. He always had a smile on his face, especially when playing the fiddle. He will be truly missed.

My sympathies. Alfred was a great individual who was instrumental in bringing me into the bluegrass world. He helped me to fine-tune my fiddle skills and I always enjoyed playing with him any and every chance I got. He will be greatly missed.
