PAUL L. VENHUIZEN, 60, of Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at his home.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
Paul was born July 25, 1962, in Oskaloosa, IA, to Ronald D. and Marva R. (Legel) VenHuizen. He was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and was a graduate of West Grand High School in Kremmling, CO. He married Shelly R. Hook on December 17, 2005 in Fulton, IL. She died March 15, 2018. He was employed by Timken Drives in Fulton. Paul enjoyed the outdoors arrowhead hunting and hunting in particular. He also loved antiquing. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family especially, his grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Derek VenHuizen of Clinton, IA and Benjamin Adam (Michelle) VenHuizen of Johnstown, CO; five grandchildren, Broden, Ezekiel, Matthew, Jaxon and Kennedi VenHuizen; parents, Ron and Marva VenHuizen of Mt. Carroll, IL; one sister, Sara (Kevin) Young of Fulton, IL; two brothers, Dave (Sheila) VenHuizen of Fulton, IL and Jim (Juanita) VenHuizen of Kremmling, CO; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelly; maternal and paternal grandparents.
