Mae Scanlan Obituary

Mae P. (Perry) Scanlan, age 91, entered into eternal life, Feb. 26, 2012. Mae was born and raised in Dorchester, and had lived in Braintree for many years. Beloved wife of the late Philip J. Scanlan. Devoted mother of Paul W. Scanlan of Braintree and the late Philip J. Jr. Devoted sister of Evelyn Bonetti, formerly of Savin Hill, the late Lillian Currier, Laura Kelley, and Florence Winters. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., Weymouth Landing, Thursday , March 1 a t 10 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours were Wednesday from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Dear Paul, All i can think about is the wonderful times that were spent in your home in Braintree at those annual summertime cook-outs! Your parents hosted one every year, that's the first place i ever ate steamers!
Such great memories , running through your house ....your mom never said STOP RUNNING!!! she just kept smiling! She is my Godmother and I always cherished her as a second mother! loving missed love Jan Walsh & family
