H. Henley Obituary

STUART, Va. - Mr. H. Gale Henley, 67, of Stuart died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at his residence. Mr. Henley was a native of Telford, Tenn., and a son of the late William Howard Henley and Olga Marie Dillow Henley of Clemmons, N.C. He was formerly of Winston-Salem, N.C., and a graduate of Jonesborough High School. He attended East Tennessee State University and the University of Tennessee. Mr. Henley was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Vicky Pitts Henley of the home. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at Telford United Methodist Church Cemetery in Telford, Tenn. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home in Jonesborough, Tenn., prior to the graveside service. Memorial donations may be made to your local American Heart Association or to Telford United Methodist Church, c/o Virginia Campbell, 116 Creasy Creek Road, Jonesborough, TN 37649.
