Wilma Rose Mullins

1949 - 2023

WILMA ROSE MULLINS of Hamlin, WV, born February 27, 1949, passed away June 18, 2023 at the age of Seventy Four years, Three months and Twenty Seven days after a long illness.
She was the daughter of the late Ermel and Mildred Vance Cook. She was also preceded in death by her husband; Jesse, her brother; George Cook and one sister; Ann Sostrich. She was a devoted homemaker that loved to quilt and work in her flower garden.
She is survived by one daughter; Christina Mullins(Charles Thayer) of Cross Lanes, WV, one son; Steven Mullins (Amy) of Crown City, OH, four brothers; Ermel Cook (Lois) of Branchland, WV, James Cook of Bossier City, LA, Rube Cook (Dean) of Tomball, TX and Charlie Cook (Nacy) of Branchland, WV, two grandchildren; Carder Mullins of Wayne, WV and Christopher Thayer of Cross Lanes, WV, many nieces and nephews and her faithful companions Maggie, Shep, Turbo and Whiskers.
The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to her dedicated caregivers Millie, Melanie, Diana, Kristin, Meghan and Rayeanna.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, 11 a.m., June 21, 2023 at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV with Pastor Zachary Smith officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. June 20, 2023 at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin WV . Interment will be at KY Veterans Cemetery Northeast, Grayson, KY.
