Lupe G. Arvizo, 80 of Somerton Az, entered eternal rest on February 6, 2021. She was born in Canoga Park, California, on January 1, 1941.

Lupe is survived by her husband George L. Arvizo; her daughter Theresa Garcia (Sam) of Yuma; son George Arvizo (Cecilia) of Yuma; daughter Melissa Arvizo-Fairbrother (Michael) of Glendale, Az. She had eight grandchildren, Ashley, Erick, Briana, Alyssa, George Jr., Michael, Joseph and Victoria; and two great grandchildren Samuel and Kaleb. Lupe 's passing is a huge loss for her family. She and George were blessed with 57 years of marriage. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren fiercely.

Lupe was a strong and talented woman. Throughout the years she enjoyed serving her community alongside her husband George; Somerton Little League; Somerton Youth Group and Somerton City Council. She will be remembered for the beautiful birthday and wedding cakes she made for her family and friends.

Thank you for being the greatest wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. You will forever be in our hearts!

Private family service to be held on February 13, 2021, at Johnson Mortuary. Graveside service at 11:00 a.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

My sincere condolences to the Arvizo family. Throughout the years we were blessed to be like family. We are heartbroken that such a great person has left us, even though she is no longer with us she left a lot of good memories in our hearts .
