dearest wilson. you were such a trooper. my son tyler holmes had the privilege to be your roomate at the university of tulsa. he is a better person for having known you. you always shared laughter and good times even when the times weren't so good. my husband richard and i had the absolute pleasure of "hanging out" with you on many joyful occasions. No words can express our feelings today. I know your life was full of joy which you in turn shared with the world. We are better people for knowing you. God will take care of you until we meet again.

Our hearts are hurting with you all at the loss of such a WONDERFUL young man...and we have been lifting you up to our Father in Heaven for His Comfort. Wilson left behind a legacy of joy and peace. He will forever be remembered for his gentle spirit. Watching him run down the field at the OCS football games is how I will remember him best. Until we meet him again, forever, with Jesus...! What a day of rejoicing that will be.

For every life he touched, and I know there were many of all ages there will be glittering star in his crown in heaven! The inspiration, determination, the 'if you want something, you have to work hard for it, his never giving up attitude, his strength mentally and physically was awesome. I know he will be missed by all who knew him and especially his family. My prayer that God give you strength during this difficult time of grieving. For the family of Wilson Holloway: I am very sorry for your loss of such a courageous young man. My husband was diagnosed with Hodgkins in '98 at the age of 27. He also firmly believed in positive thinking. Thankfully he is still with me today. I cannot imagine the pain you must feel. But I know that you will be comforted by the positive impact Wilson left on those around him. Soon the Happy God, our Creator, will destroy death and mourning forever and everyone living will enjoy perfect health forever. The God of comfort "is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." -Psalm 34:18

Would that we could all live our lives as well as Wilson lived his. As the mother of a child lost to cancer, I understand your loss. Wilson won the greatest battle of his life when God called him home to heal him. May the family and friends of this incredible young man take comfort in knowing that he is now free of all pain and suffering. Remember the good times and the joy all who knew him felt in his presence. Turn the sad memories over to the Lord. May God bless you and lift your spirits high during this sad time.

Gone to soon and never far away resting in the future for a new spark of day. When you will arise and all will see a strong and healthy young man who is cancer free. Many will miss your smile and loving ways, being full of courage you have taught us how to live out our days. I am sending to all of you family, friends, and others my deepest sympathy. I am praying that you will embrace his legacy of being a fighter and the beautiful man within
who had a spirit of steel, will never beforgotten as you slowly heal. Isaiah 65:17,25 For, Behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into the mind. (25) The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain , saith the LORD. Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

When I read about this young man and saw the tributes from his friends...it convinced me more than ever that angels walk among us. I hunted up his picture on the internet just to be sure, and when I saw his smile...yes, that was the clincher. Oh, Wilson. God is so glad to have you home, and we are being a little bit selfish right now, wishing you were still here with us. You're amazing, and we're so proud to have had you as our inspiration, even if it was for too short of a time. May God hold your family and friends in the palm of His hand, especially now during this most difficult time. God bless you, our Angel friend!

My son is battling hodgkins lymphoma also. He watches ESPN all the time and came downstairs crying when he heard what happen to this fine, positive- thinking young man. My son is now wondering if his fate will be the same since this cancer has also come back a 3rd time (like Wilson's did). He is in great hands though at MD Anderson in Houston and has recently started a clinical trial drug. Hope is still alive and a very powerful force. I really feel for what Wilson and his parents, siblings and friends have all gone through fighting this terrible disease. Keep the Holloway family and their friends in your hearts and prayers.
