My sincere condolences to the family.
It is hard to lose someone close to us.
But please know that God does not forget our loved ones or us as we have to cope with this loss. We are encouraged to throw all our anxieties upon him because he cares for you".

"My sincerest condolences on the loss of your dear loved one. The Bible assures us that our Heavenly Father "is near to those that are broken at heart and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." May your memories bring you a measure of comfort at this time = Williams (Jackson Gap, Al.)

Thank you Calvin Hannah. Your photography of those events in our Civil Rights Movement are a history of what we hope will not be repeated. You were a brave man those days armed with only your camera. I know you will be greeted by angels. Thanks for your contribution to humanity. RIP In appreciation and Sympathy to your Wife and Daughters.

Calvin Hannah understood how to produce excellent newspaper color earlier than most. I went to The News in 1974 as a young managing editor, somewhat full of myself, and in his patient manner he taught me how to set up the photos, how to choose them and how to make sure they told the story. Our prayers are with his family.
