Our deep, heartfelt condolences to the Allain family for the death of Bill Allain. We are so thankful to him for his recognizing the value and worth of women and minorities. We are all precious and equal in God's eyes. Although occasions such as the loss of a loved one can bring sadness, comfort can be ours if we draw close to God with assurance that he will respond abundantly.

Governor Allain was truly a man of the people--good governor, a good man. It was honor to know him. Whenever I was in Jackson, i attended St Peter's Catholic Church at morning Mass--I understand that he started each day with church attendance. A fine man.

I worked under Gov. Bill Allain all the years he was Governor. He was a brilliant man. He was for the people of the State of Mississippi.

I had the honor and privilege of serving on Governor Allain's staff in both the Attorney General's Office and the Governor's Office, and I am very grateful for those opportunities he gave me. I will always hold special memories of him, his courage and leadership, and, most of all, our personal friendship.

Mr. Allain, I never met you in person, but I will never forget the great work you did for MS. I will also never forget the work your office personnel helped me with when I had a problem with an apartment complex in Jackson. You were a fine, dignified Christian. May you rest in peace. I extend my sympathy to your loving family

My deepest sympathy for your family. May it bring comfort to know that Mr. Allain's concern and respect for all mankind will not go unnoticed by our loving Creator. As Nehemiah 13:14,30,31 prayed "Do remember me, O my God favorably" Ann, NOLA

A friend for over 30 years. Not many people knew how Bill delighted in sharing a humorous conversation with his friends. Most people did know though that they could not get the best of him in any situation - he was just too quick witted. Bill Allain will be missed.
