Abraham Allain

Sturbridge, MA – Abraham Allain, 87, of Sturbridge passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 with his family by his side at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center – West Brookfield, MA.
Abe is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Anna (Thebeau) Allain; three sons, Roger Allain of Dudley, Donald Allain and his wife, Claudia of Cherry Valley and Jean Allain and his wife, Amanda of Cherry Valley; two daughters, Diane Shea and her husband, Jeff of Spencer and Charlene Cormier and her husband, Dave of Hamlet North Carolina; a sister, Ronalda Allain of Moncton, NB, Canada; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Allain was born in Acadieville, New Brunswick, Canada son of the late Edmond and Sophie (Doiron) Allain and is predeceased by a son, Joseph Allain; 4 brothers, Euclide Allain, Eulysse Allain, Eve Allain and Valeri Allain and six sisters, Nellie Poirier, Doris Arseneault, Florida Thebeau, Anise Bourque, Ludivine Arseneault and Dorina Aucoin.
Abe move to Worcester from his hometown of Acadieville, New Brunswick in 1957 and started working as an auto body technician for many years where he was known throughout the industry as the "The Frame Guy" because of his expertise in repairing frame damage on vehicles. He then went to work for the Norton Company in Plant 7 in 1980 and stayed for 20 years until retiring in 2000.
Mr. Allain was a member of Saint Anne / Saint Patrick Parish in Fiskdale, MA. Abe enjoyed spending time with his family. Being with his children, grandchildren, siblings and countless nieces and nephews always brought great joy.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to staff and volunteers of both Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center and New England Hospice for the exceptional love, care and support that was shown to Abe and his family throughout his illness.
The funeral for Mr. Allain will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Anne – St. Patrick Church 16 Church St. Fiskdale, MA (Please go directly to church). Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 23, from 4 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester.
