My condolences to the Phil Crane family. Our days ebb away because of your fury; And our years come to an end like a whisper. The span of our life is 70 years, or 80 if one is especially strong. But they are filled with trouble and sorrow; They quickly pass by, and away we fly. (Psalm 90:9,10)

Our heartfelt condolences for the loss of a great gentleman and congressman. Congressman Crane was devoted to helping the people of Illinois, a passion that is progressively fading away. May your precious memories of him prove to be a source of comfort during the difficult times to come, and may you continually draw close to God in prayer knowing that he will draw close to you and grant you peace of heart and mind.

Met and spent a short period of time with Mr. Crane and wife Arlene in the late 70's as family acquaintance. Wonderful family and a great patriarch who was fun to talk to and enjoyed his company. A great patriot.

Dear Crane Family, sending my deepest sympathy during this time. No matter how old we are, it's hard losing our parents in death.
Once said, "We're all on the same train in life, but those have fallen asleep in death are in the sleeper car." When your parents and your sister hear their names being called by God, they will wake up to a paradise earth where death will be swallowed up forever.

I had a lot of respect for Mr. Crane as a person that truly cared about the people he served while in office. He and his office helped me in a difficult situation many years ago when I lived in Illinois, and I have always been very thankful to him.
Sending my sincerest condolences to all of his family, and friends.
