May you fine comfort with you during this difficult time in your lives and in your wealth of fond memories together. Very sad news, passed much too early. Will remember his performances at various locations in the States and in Europe. For me, a vivid bridge to Miles, but also a musician in his own right.

I offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Wallace. He and I shared many commuter bus rides into NYC and taxis to his special rehearsal spot, which was one block from my job. He loved to share stories. He will be be missed. His music lives on. Peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. Leaving here, at such a young age of 59cyears, because of a viral infection, is such a tragedy. I love music, and I am sure, he loved it also. I played the guitar, but I always fascinated with ones who could play the horns. May he be remembered by the music he played, and may the God of Comfort, continue to comfort you, in this time of grief.
