Robert Earl Lachman Jr.

1947 - 2023

Robert "Bob" Earl Lachman Jr, 75, of Rockland, formally of Tomah, died on August 10, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. , Bob was born to Robert and Elizabeth (Hanson) Lachman on August 11, 1947 at St. Francis Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Bob had 2 sons. Bruce, and Matthew from his first marriage to Sharon Golden. Bob loved to ride motorcycles; Bob put close to 100K on his different Harleys with the majority on his Road King. He rode a lot with his brothers Russ and Bill and Danny and Lucy Freidl. Bob was an avid golfer his whole life, he marked a double eagle on the 10th hole at the Skyline Golf Course in Black River Falls. Bob would always say "Make us a Tee Time, and I am on my way." He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Bob is survived by his wife, Michelle "Shelly" Clay of Rockland;

a Son, Matthew Lachman of Powder Springs, GA;

2 Grandchildren Jamie Lachman and Jack Lachman,

2 stepdaughters, Catrina (Greg) Hillard of Brunswick, Ohio, (Matthew Hillard, and Colin Hillard;) Cassandra Clay of Tomah, Wisconsin, (Montana Clay, )

5 Siblings, Russ (Alyce) Lachman of Ft. Meyers, Bill ( Deb) Lachman of La Crosse, Nancy Krohn of La Crosse, Peggy Deere of Holmen, Penny (Larry) Becker of Onalaska

Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth Lachman and a son, Bruce Lachman.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Veterans Memorial Park in West Salem on Sept 2nd at 11am
