Uncle Joe once told me that he was looking forward to the time when he would see Aunt Jan again and be able to just walk and talk with her in heaven. While he is missed terribly, it is comforting to know that he is now able to take those walks with her. I was always proud to also call him my godfather. He had such an wonderful smile! Rest in peace Uncle Joe.

Joe was good friend that I met when he worked for Brunswick Bowling in the early 80´s. He installed my first automatic scoring system in 1984. He was a big fan of popcorn and as a joke I got him a 50 pound bag of Orville Reddenbacker popcorn. He enjoyed that bag for a long time. My wife and I and kids visited him and Janet once at their home in Lynchburg. We all had big ice cream sundaes from a local restaurant is the memory from that visit. Joe was very talented and knowledgeable in the electronics field and was always ready to help solve a problem. Rest in Peace my friend.

Joe was an older brother who I could always depend on. When Joe came home from the Navy, he brought home about 50 comic books of my favorite characters. I put them in my bedroom to read any time I woke up. Joe also shared good advice over the years. Thank You Joe.
