I got off on the wrong foot with a McDonough(John) but am am happy to say that I eventually became a friend and I served with Alice in the Legislature and she was a great person and Democrat. I visited Alice at the Nursing home and I know how hard it is on your family, but she was a wonderful person and I will miss all the McDonoughs, even John's son who recently pulled me over in Goffstown for driving too slow. They do make an impression on you and I will miss them

Maureen-My memories of your mother (from your house on Hanover St) bring to mind her beautiful face that was etched with a look of pride - She was so proud of her children and loved to dote on her grandchildren. Just as she was so proud of her family, it is magnificent that in later years her kids became so proud of her as she created a beautiful legacy as an activist, standing sound on her beliefs.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of sorrow and may you find comfort in the beautiful legacy she left for all of us who knew her.
