Hardin Wilson Wallace, Jr. was the third child and oldest son born to the union of Hardin Wilson Wallace, Sr. and Bernice Williams Wallace in Natchez, MS. He was baptized at an early age at St. Paul A.M.E Church in Natchez, MS, where he was an active member until moved out of state to Michigan. He returned to MS in 1989 and began working as a project manager for U.S. Consolidated Incorporated after working for over a decade as a laboratory technician at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He settled in Jackson, MS and joined St. Mark's Episcopal Church where he remained a faithful and dedicated member until his passing.

Hardin graduated from Sadie V. Thompson High School in Natchez, MS. Hestudied at Alcorn State University until he was drafted into the army in 1969.

Hardin was a devoted lifelong partner to Carol Blackmon for more than 29 years. He lovingly adopted her granddaughter, Farren Patton, and embraced her four children - Kameron Patton, Karter Richards, Kason Goodman and Krislynn Joi Patton - as his own, honoring them as his grandchildren and great-grand children by heart.

Hardin was the true embodiment of a family man. His life was marked by self- sacrifice, unconditional love, and unwavering commitment to providing for his family. With wisdom and grace, he managed family affairs and guided these children in the ways of the Lord.

As reflected in Ephesians 5:25-28, Hardin lived out the biblical charge to love selflessly, lead righteously, and care deeply - Just as Christ loves the church.

Hardin was preceded in death by his parents, Hardin Wilson Wallace, Sr. and Bernice Williams Wallace; as well as his oldest sister, Josephine Wallace Cottingham. In addition to his life partner and adopted grandchildren, He leaves to cherish his memory: two brothers, Tom Wallace of Ridgeland, MS and T. Keith Wallace of Natchez, MS; three sisters, LaVerne Wallace Little of Chicago, IL, Ruth Diane Wallace of Chicago, Ill and Darlene Wallace Pickett of Natchez, MS; fifteen nieces and nephews: Rochell Cottingham (Rynia) of Florence, MS, Azande Wallace Williams (David) of Clinton, MS, Kenitra Wallace of Jackson, MS, Tommy L. Wallace II (Nzinga) of Madison, MS, H.
