Clifford Muzzi Obituary

Clifford A. Muzzi

March 23, 1944 - June 22, 2025

Sacramento, California - Clifford Allen Paul Muzzi, 81, of Sacramento, California, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025 with his wife by his side.

Cliff was born on March 23, 1944, and raised in Richmond, CA, by Frank and Eleanor Muzzi.

He married his college sweetheart, Jane in 1964 and raised three sons. The family moved to River Park in Sacrament in 1975. Cliff then began his very successful career in sales. He started as a merchandiser for Canada Dry, then as a traveling salesman for Lever Brothers. He then utilized his extensive sales expertise in the security industry. He was hired into an entry-level position at Burns International (a subsidiary of BorgWarner) and successfully advanced to VP in the Security Division of BorgWarner. After the BorgWarner Security Division was acquired, with his business partner, he founded a security company in Sacramento.

Cliff was a great sports fan. He loved the San Francisco 49ers and enjoyed attending his sons' little league games. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching cooking shows and was a model train enthusiast.

He was a faithful parishioner at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church for 50 years. He was a huge supporter of Christian Brothers High School where his children and grandchildren attended. With his dedication, hard work, and talent for fundraising, Cliff provided many years of support. He also met and made many life-long friends there.

Cliff is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jane; children Danny (Rena), Tim (Melissa), Tony (Stephanie); and two grandchildren Savannah and Mason.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on August 7th at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Sacramento, followed by a reception at the Dante Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Brothers High School or the SPCA.

Cliff's self-sacrifice, generosity, and devotion to his family and his faith will be remembered by all who knew him.

The family would like to thank Sharon, Adrienne, and Jessie for their support.
