Kathy was one of my art students at North Cumberland Middle School and I remember her well. She was beautiful, personable and had so many friends. I can visualize the sparkle in her eyes and her radiant smile. It sounds like she left the world a better place because of who she was and what she did. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I went to college with Kathy and we were very close friends back in those days. Kathy was even in my wedding in '81.
I would have liked to attend the memorial service, but I did not receive the news of her passing until after the service had already taken place.
While Kathy and I (sadly) had lost touch, I have the warmest and fondest of memories of her. The picture Cindy has of her on her FB page is exactly the way I still picture her with that sweet smile and gorgeous dark, curly hair... I probably even borrowed that black top! We did a LOT of clothes swapping back then but mostly me pilfering hers... I always loved her style. We had SO many good times and talks together, but also hilarious, side-spitting laughs. It always surprised and delighted me when she would be goofy with us because I always considered her so cool but also proper. SO many great times at URI but also at her homes in Cumberland and the Cape. Always such a hospitable hostess, even as a very young woman.
We did reconnect a couple of times over the years - one of which was when she came to visit me in Warwick after the birth of my 3rd daughter back in '91. She came with Harrison (who was about 7 months old) and brought along a delicious Reuben sandwich stuffing mix she had made to share for lunch - which I still occasionally make and which reminds me of her each time I do. But I am so regretful we'll never have another chance to get together. I had often thought about trying for a reunion with her and some of our other college friends, but alas, life got in the way. Worst of excuses... It saddens me to reflect on it.
I have been thinking of her and all of you Farrallys/Fricks so much over these past months. She was such a wonderful person in so many respects sister, daughter, mother, friend and so accomplished in her career. She will be sorely missed.
I just wanted to extend my deepest and heartfelt condolences over your deep loss.
You and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers.

I have such fond memories of Kathy from high school and college. She was so kind, intelligent, and poised but still fun to be around. Even during those formative years it was clear that Kathy was already the type of person that we should all be striving to be. All who knew her were the better for it. Wishing the entire Farrelly family peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I was so saddened to hear of Kathy's passing. I will never forget the great times I had with her especially the New Years Eve parties at the house in Cumberland where we had some "good old fashion fun!" Kathy was always the responsible one who made sure we stayed safe. I wasn't surprised reading about all her accomplishments in life. Harrison, her family and all of us were truly blessed to have known her. I wish her Godspeed

Kathy, you were a shining light of loveliness and one of the kindest people I knew. Memories of my childhood are filled with your smile and laughter. The world is a little bit lonelier with you not in it. I will always remember and reflect upon the good that you brought to anyone who knew you. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

It is with heavy heart to hear of Kathy's passing. I have so many fond memories of her when we were little kids on Thomas Leighton Blvd. Skating on Farrelly's pond when the boys weren't playing hockey, making a paper cup and string telephone from my bedroom to hers, practicing in our basements for cheerleading try outs, watching Peter sing "My Cheri Amour" in her living room. He got mad at us because we were talking during his performance... She recently reached out to me on Linkedin. I wish we could have gotten together. My sincerest condolences to the Farrelly family.

We started as colleagues long ago at Channel 6, and we quickly became friends. We continued as both for the past 30+ years. We last worked together on a freelance gig six weeks ago. Lisa and I are heartbroken and deeply saddened by Kathy's sudden death and the Farrelly family's loss. She was such a joy to be around and was always asking about our children and their lives. We regret not being able to be with your family to say goodbye to her, but please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all. There will always be a place in our hearts for Kathy, please know we loved her so.
