My deepest sympathy to the family on the passing of Mike. I was lucky enough to become his friend through NCangler. We've shared many floats on the New, and a few campfires also. My fondest memories are the times he came here to Mount Airy for the Fiddlers Convention (with a little fishing on the side). I will also remember his peaceful spirit, how at ease he seemed with life, and the sparkle in his eyes when speaking of his daughter. I am much the better for knowing him. May the Peace and Comfort of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Michael was a special person. After the family moved to Charlotte he always took every opportunity to come up to the family picnics and reunions. Often went in to Akron to bring his Dad along. He made the trip up last September and we had such a fun and loving get together. I cherish the memories and pictures of our last time with him and my family.

Michael was a special person! After the family moved to Charlotte he would return to Nicktown for as many picnics and reunions as possible. Many times he made the trip to Akron to pick up my brother Mike (his father) to be sure he got in to see his family. I cherish the wonderful memories of our visit to PA in September with Michael and my family. My deepest sympathy to Kathy, Mikala and Michael's brothers and sister!

I've know Mike since the first grade and am so glad we got together every year starting in 2006 to 2013 after a 30 year gap. Mike was an absolutely terrific guy and as another friend on here mentioned he was lighthearted. Yes,that was Mike. He will be missed by many here in Ohio.

To the family of my cousin, Micheal Byrne. Micheal will be missed deeply. Our family was able to see him last September in PA. He brought all of us such joy. His smile, laugh and kind words will never be forgotten. He took the time to drive all the way to us and we all our so very thankful. We will keep all of you in our prayers. He is now at peace. Rest in peace my very dear cousin and friend. Or prayers are with you all. I hope you enjoy the book I sent off or trip. Love, Annette, Aunt Pat, uncle Jerry and Kim.

Mike was a great guy! Always light hearted and witty. I will greatly miss his advice and ability to look at things from a different viewpoint to make sure the intent of a message was clear. Sharing photos of the weekend's catch or discussing what Mikala and he had gone to see would bring a smile to his face.
I miss our conversations and his humorous view at work already. Rest-in-Peace Mike!
My prayers are with the family
