I just submitted an entry in which I incorrectly referred to the bank where Harriet worked. Could you please change the reference from City National to Huntington National. Thanks!

My heartfelt condolences to Harriet's family. I met her 12 years ago through my neighbor, her long-time friend Mary Lou Baker, who gathered together a group of women to attempt to document the contributions of women in the history of Columbus. Harriet was calm and competent and clear-eyed, and I respected and liked her enormously. I can only imagine the effect she must have had on City National Bank and Lazarus! I think she was always ahead of her time, ahead of every curve. May she rest in the peace of knowing that she made a difference.
