Edward Sharkey

SHARKEYEdward J., of Paramus, died August 13, 2007. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Keegan). Loving father of Kathy Sharkey-Nye, Tim and wife Amy Sharkey, and Christine Eleazer. Loving grandfather of Michael, Robyn, Justin, Courtney, Lauren, Samantha, Daniel, Alexis, and Matthew. Edward was VP of Real Estate Development for Mercantile Stores, Inc., NY, NY in 1964, and on their Board of Directors from 1974 until his retirement in 1989. He was a parishioner of Annunciation RC Church, Paramus, where he was also on their Finance Committee. A 1942 graduate of Pace University, he was a US Army Air Force Veteran of WW II, and a member of the Civil Defense Corps, Paramus. Funeral Services Thursday 8:30 AM at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood, followed by a 9:30 AM Funeral Mass in Annunciation R.C. Church, Paramus. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting Wednesday 6-9 PM.
