Jim was an integral part of the formation of my career. Nothing did I learn in the future came close to the lessons that he taught all of us at one twenty broadway. He mastered the art of untouchable executive and highly approachable and personable mentor to anyone who was smart enough to seek his advice. I use his teachings in my career to this day. Thank you Jim.

To this day I still don't really understand bonds, but nearly 40 years later I can still remember the calm and reassuring words of Jim Lebenthal as he presented the concept of municipal bonds to investors.

Jim Lebenthal probably did as much to secure the financial health of a battered New York City and other cities around the country, than anyone else over the past few generations.
