I had the honor and privledge of working for Floyd when he first started here at ATO. We would get off track sometimes in our meetings if there was exciting news about cars, I also remember his love for pepper--I don't believe I had ever seen anyone take the lid off the pepper shaker in a resturant before. My prayers of comfort go out to his family.

Floyd was one of my favorite people at Amgen. We always talked about cars and sometimes politics. I always enjoyed his laid-back country style. We went to Ireland together to train staff on Maximo. They told me I talked slow, I told them to wait 'til they meet Floyd! They were all intrigued by the opportunity of meeting a genuine Texas gentleman. They weren't disappointed.
F III, I will miss you my friend, and no...I still haven't balanced and blueprinted my '66 T-bird. Maybe I will now.

I had the pleasure of working for Floyd. He was a great man with an even greater heart.

So sad to hear the news of Floyd's passing. I remember as a young child being around Floyd while visiting at their home in Denison, what a kind soul.....
