Denise Vicic (Rocco)

Dear Zaller family, my name is Denise Vicic. I didnt know your family but my father, Frank worked at the shop for quite some time. He passed away in 1988 at age 40. I know he loved working on cars. My parents divorced when I was 3. I had called zallers only to find out my dad passed away a few months prior to my call. The person who answered was very kind to me. My son now works on cars as a master tech and I like to think that he got a little bit of that love of cars from my dad. I've never forgotten the zaller name. I'm sorry for your loss.

Dear Zaller Family: I was doing some family research and saw that Rich and Mary Lou both have passed away. I am sorry for your loss. I know your Mom and Dad loved each other very much. I remember being at their wedding. Also the good times we had in Aunt Mary's basement where your Dad would play his accordion and Billie would on the drums, playing that good old polka music. Those are happy family memories. Please cherish the memories you have and always hold your parents close to your hearts.

My name is Dennis Semick and I found out this morning that Rich passed away.If I had known I would been there the whole time. Rich and Frank hired me in 1959 and I was there 15 years. Rich Frank and Bill were like family to me. We worked together and drank together and shared a lot of good times together. Many years ago Rich became a good pool player and him and I would go to different bars and play pool. Rich got so good that we usually ended up ahead money wise. I am sorry to have missed the services. I am sorry for your loss.

Our sympathy to the family on the loss of your dad. We have great memories of his playing his accordion at our polka jams at the Junkanoo on Fort Myer's Beach. Yes he enjoyed a good party and loved his polkas. He will be missed.
