Harold Knoll

Harold William Knoll, 94, passed away July 10, 2006, in El Cajon. He was born Jan. 21, 1912, in Fairmont, Minn. Harold was a resident of Ludlow for 28 years and had lived in San Diego for 12 years previously. Harold was the CEO of the Ludlow Businesses and had been employed in the construction industry for more than 50 years. Harold loved to fly his own airplane. Harold was a member of the Newberry Community Church for 28 years. He was a member of the Masons in San Diego for 64 years. Survivors are his wife of 71 years, Mayme; sons Harold, Jr. of Ludlow and John of Klamath Falls, Ore.; daughter, Sandra K. Elliott of El Cajon, eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, July 17, 2006, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Irwin Road. Services will be Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at 10 a.m. also at Mead Mortuary. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
