Georgina A. Goinsalvos (Whalen), Age 95, March 8, 2014. Beloved Wife of the late Louis J. Goinsalvos. Devoted Mother of Pat Hamilton and her husband Don of Newton and Richard Goinsalvos and his wife Robyn of Merrimack, NH. Loving Grandmother (Nana) of Debbie and her fiance` Ken, David and his wife Joan, Sandy, Adam and his fiance Bree. Great-Grandmother (Gammie) of Jasmyne, David Jr, Angela, and Gina. Dear Sister of Donald Whalen and the late Bill, Tony, Eddie, Vinnie and Lawrence Whalen and Millie Gibson, Theresa Crowley and Mary Whalen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Georgina retired from the Polaroid Corporation in 1982 after 40 years of work as a Quality Control Inspector. She enjoyed travel, playing cards and bingo and spend- ing time with her family and friends. She was re- nowned as a master baker of chocolate chip cookies. Visiting hours in the Andrew J. Magni & Son Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St, Rt. 16, Newton, Tuesday from 4-8pm and again on Wednesday morning at 9:30am, before proceeding to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St, Newton for a 10:30am Funeral Mass. Burial Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. In lieu of flowers, donations in Georginas name may be made to: Good Shepherd Community Care, 90 Wells Ave, Newton, MA 02459 www.magnifuneralhome.com
