To one of my favorite cousins Dot,
I have just learned today of your passing and I am deeply saddened. I will always remember our special times together as I was growing up. The stories of my mother and the sleep overs I had at your apt in Brooklyn and later at your house in Staten Island. Your personality was larger than life and you would light up the room whenever you entered. You were the connection to my Scottish kin long after my mother passed. I will miss you and your laughter. May you rest in peace with all the angels.

to my Godmother Dot,
you will be missed terribly. You were like another mother to me. We were 2 of the same with almost identical personalities! You are a remarkable woman who gave so much to the people who knew you. You inspired people's lives and moved them. You kept me strong and always told me to have faith. Im glad you are at peace, although that doesn't make this easy. I lost a best friend on the 21st and i will miss you deeply. its so hard to say goodbye but I will honor you by living my life by your example. Each day will get better knowing you are still with me. I miss you and love you soo much! May you rest in peace and I shall see you again one day! I love you!
