Arlin Payne Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
PAYNE, Arlin Arlin Payne, 85 of Tucker passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011. He was born in Cleburne Co., Alabama, the son of the late Fayette and Etta Finnel Payne. Mr. Payne retired from the General Motors Doraville plant as a forklift operator. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Grizzard Payne of Tucker; his daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Robert Hames of Alpharetta; his son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Debra Payne of Lilburn; grandchildren, Laura Payne, Christy and Jack Payne, Nicole Hames, and Andre Hames; his nieces Melissa Tanner, and Belinda Tanner; his nephews, Gary Payne, and Ken Payne. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Pike officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will received friends from noon until service time on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
