Rosetta Whittenberg Obituary

Rosetta Whittenberg, 56, a certified nurses' aide, answered her heavenly Father's summons Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at a local hospital. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Galatian Baptist Church, 4140 Burke Road. Interment: People's Burial Park. Visitation: 1 to 7 p.m. Friday at Baker Funeral Home, with the family present 7 to 8 p.m. Rosetta was born Dec. 5, 1954, in Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her father, Cesar Ballard, and brother, Arty Stell Whittenberg. Survivors: Mother, Mildred Ballard; sons, Arty Stell Whittenberg II and Cesar David Whittenberg; sister, Janelle Allen; brothers, Willie Whittenberg and Henry Ballard; and a host of other relatives and family.

Rosetta was a beautiful spirit, loving and kind. It was an honor to work with her at Easter Seals. She was much loved by her coworkers and clients. I know that many angels come to escort her home.
