Another year has passed and now I say...It doesn't seem like it has been two years since Janet left us. Janet was saved the agony of the pandemic, but on the other hand, she would have been a great comfort to those she loved had she still been with us. I know her memory has helped her family get through these hard times.

You will always hold a special place in my mind and heart
I was 16 when I was an attendant at your wedding.
That was an honor and a thrill
Thank you for your kindness and gentle ways.
You will be missed and never forgotten.

I worked with Janet at the UM Admissions Office all the years she was there and we became a good working team as well as good friends. Following retirement, Janet, Ellie Hendershot and I would celebrate their joint birthdays of June 10 with lunch and share memories and laughter. Janet was a very special person and it was my honor to have known her.
