Beverly Jane Buckingham

Beverly Jane Buckingham, age 93, passed away on June 25th, 2025 peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on July 20, 1931, in Noxen, Pennsylvania, to the late Fannie and Lawrence Crispell.

Beverly was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Junior (Sonny), and her beloved husband, Charles Ambrose Buckingham. She is survived by her brother, Gary Crispell and his wife Florence.

On January 30, 1954, Beverly married the love of her life, Charles Buckingham, and together they raised four sons: Larry, Lyle, David, and Kirby. Beverly's life was centered around family, and she was proudly known as a "boy mom," always devoted to her sons.

As her family grew, so did the love and pride Beverly felt. Larry married Linda, and together they have seven children. Lyle followed with four children, David and his wife Michelle have two children, and Kirby and Kim have four children, bringing the total number of grandchildren to seventeen. Beverly adored each and every one of them.

Her joy continued to grow as her grandchildren began families of their own, eventually leading to a total of forty-two great-grandchildren, and even nine great-great-grandchildren. Beverly was truly the glue that held her sprawling family together, hosting countless cookouts, family gatherings, and always making her famous "pink stuff," a recipe that became a beloved staple at every event.

Beverly worked for over 20 years as a food service worker for the Citrus County School Board, where she touched the lives of many children.

If you asked Beverly what she was most proud of, she would always say it was her four sons. They kept her on her toes, and that was what kept her going. She loved them dearly, and her love for her family never wavered.

Beverly will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, and a dear friend to all who knew her. Her warm heart, kindness, and dedication to her family will be missed by all. Private arrangements under the care of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
